Tasman District School dominated the recent Hamilton Agricultural Show taking away a swag of sashes.
The school sent a team of 19 students to show animals at the 67th Hamilton Show, with the school winning the grand champion prize for its Hampshire Down sheep.
Sadly it will be the last agricultural show for a while given the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hamilton Show is considered a traditional grassroots show and numbers at the event were up on previous years.
Committee member Jo Jones said there was a focus on showcasing the industries which underpin the local community.
“Authentic agricultural exhibitions of wool fleeces, shearing, beef and sheep judging, goats, working dogs, equestrian events and camp drafting dominated the program,” Mrs Jones said.
