BICHENO’S multi-award winning Food and Wine Festival is ready to shine a spotlight on the beautiful region later this month.
Now in its 13th year, the boutique weekend Festival, is a showcase of everything that is great about Tasmania’s East Coast.
The main Festival day is Saturday November 16, however entry tickets and local accommodation have already sold out.
But don’t be put off if you didn’t purchase your ticket.
Organisers say there is still the opportunity for “one out-one in” entry ticket sales during Saturday afternoon as those who arrive early take their leave.
Even if you don’t make it on Saturday, Sunday is also a great day with lots happening: including playing golf with the locals, enjoying a bacon and egg sandwich and watching the local Surf Club in action.
Other activities including learning to surf or stand up paddle, yoga and there is even (free of charge) live music and an artisan market at Devils Corner vineyard, just a few minutes drive south of Bicheno.
Early patrons can also start celebrating with The Really Awesome Music Show on Thursday night and on Friday night at The Farm Shed there is an opportunity to taste a wide range of East Coast wines which won’t be shown at the Festival.
