Tasmanian Devil Unzoo celebrated 40 years of wildlife tourism at a special ceremony at the park on 1 October. Premier Will Hodgman was present to unveil a special plaque to mark the occasion. “That’s quite a story, John, you’re a pioneer,” the Premier commented after owner John Hamilton gave a summary of the park’s history. Amongst the small crowd there to join the celebrations were local landowner Tony Clarke, whose Taranna property is the site of the Devil Tracker tours offered by the Unzoo.
