Local Women take Tasman produce to World Stage

Two local Tasman women have taken the Tasman and Forestier Peninsula and its produce to the world food stage taking out awards in the 2016 International Gourmand Cookbook Awards. The Awards recognised their achievements with Janice Sutton of Koonya taking the top award for Australia with ‘Best Cookbook of the Year’, along with ‘Best Self Published Book’ with her book ‘Garlic Feast’, while renowned Tasmanian Chef Eloise Emmett took out the awards for ‘Australia’s Best Seafood Cookbook’ and ‘Best Women Chef Cookbook’ with her latest book ‘Seafood Everyday’.
