100 Years of Anzac

The anticipation from the community for the centenary celebrations of the legend of Anzac was one of importance that has never been experienced in this country before. The Anzac legend has come to form the base of this nation’s sovereignty and federalism, from the brave actions of the nation’s young men on foreign shores and their dignity in which they served: a significant remembrance that will reign for many years to come.

The higher attendance levels for Anzac Day ceremonies at venues across the nation for more than a decade now culminated last month for the 100th anniversary and members of the South East and East Coast Tasmanian community continued that metaphoric rise attending Anzac Day Services at dawn and late morning marches in their respective locations.
