Murdunna playground gets a shady disposition

As one drives up and down the Arthur Highway, through Murdunna, one cannot help but notice the children’s playground and barbecue shelter at Jackson Park.

This has become a valuable asset to the Murdunna community with families stopping in on their journey for a break, whilst others travel from Dunalley, Eaglehawk Neck and surrounding areas to use the play equipment in the safety of the enclosed area. Last summer it became evident that the park was only used for short visits as the sun rays were too hot and suppressive for families to play in it for too long.
