Tourism awards recognise South East and East Coast regions

In a coup for the region three locally based businesses have won prestigious awards at the recent Tasmanian Tourism Award’s ceremony.
The awards ceremony conducted by The Tourism Industry Council Tasmania seeks to recognise and reward excellence within the Tasmanian tourism industry, with each category reflecting the diverse range of tourism product that Tasmania has to offer.
The Port Arthur Historic Site won both the Major Tourism Attraction and the Heritage Tourism awards. The Site also won silver in the Tourism Restaurant and Catering section.
