Phoenix Concert rocks to raise $120,000 for Bushfire fund

Australian rockers The Angels, Ross Wilson, The Screaming Jets and James Reyne lined up to perform along with local Tasmanian talent recently to produce a positive force to aid in the bushfire recovery effort.

The concert had the two fold effect of not only raising an awesome $120,000, but in also raising the spirits of those communities affected by the fire, this alone was probably worth more than the money itself. The amount includes funds raised from raffles and a secret auction held on the day.

Festival organisers successfully provided patrons with a day of family entertainment combining children’s activities with an onslaught of great rock music.
