Exhibition Success

The Tasman Peninsula Historical Society’s first ‘Innovations and Inventions Exhibition’, conducted last month at Premaydena proved to be a huge success. The Exhibition boasted displays of many local ideas including some that went on to become successes on not only the national but international stage.  Names and products, synonymous with Tasmanian life such as Glenila Chicken, innovations in farming, machinery, apple production, poultry farming, equine inventions right down to life like plaster apples that featured in exhibitions  around the world were on display.
