Three Capes Track Already Being Rigorously Assessed

The Minister for Environment, Parks and Heritage, Brian Wightman, today said the Three Capes Track proposal is already well-advanced through a rigorous planning and consultation process.
“This is a crucial project for Tasmania’s tourism industry, and the Government strongly supports the jobs and opportunities it will create.
“The Three Capes Track will provide an iconic new bushwalking experience, which promotes Tasmania as a world-class bushwalking destination.
“During construction, it’s expected to create up to 50 jobs, and inject more than $8 million into the economy of the Tasman Peninsula.
